Here’s how the intercept works.

A member calls 911. On eligible low-acuity calls, RightSite connects during the call or on scene with the EMS crew and an ER physician completes a virtual assessment. If the ER isn’t medically necessary, the physician guides the member to the right care instead. From there, a Navigator clears what’s in the way: transportation, prescriptions, medical supplies, benefits questions, and a follow-up appointment. The emergency option stays open the whole time: if anything changes, EMS sends an ambulance right away. Every case comes back to your plan as clean, attributed impact.
